1. Purpose and legal framework
We are committed to making our website accessible to all people, regardless of physical or technical conditions. This is based on the Accessibility Act (BFSG), derived from EU Directive 2019/882, and technical standard EN 301 549. We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
2. Accessibility status
Our website is largely accessible and meets many WCAG 2.1 AA criteria. However, some barriers remain, especially with embedded third‑party systems and dynamic content.
3. Non‑accessible content
The following elements are not yet fully accessible:
Third‑party widgets (e.g. booking systems, maps, appointment tools via iframes) – may not work with screen readers or keyboard, and lack alternative text.
PDF documents – older files lack proper heading structure or alternative text.
Charts and complex graphics – often without text descriptions or keyboard access.
Contrasts and controls – occasional insufficient color contrast or focus indicators.
Some content is provided by external vendors and beyond our direct control. We strive to offer alternatives or replacements.
4. Testing procedures
In 2025 our agency reviewed the site for WCAG 2.1 AA and EN 301 549 compliance. Key user scenarios were tested—navigation, structure, forms, contrast, keyboard and screen-reader use—using automated tools and manual expert checks.
5. Planned improvements
We continuously improve accessibility and plan to:
Replace or update non-accessible PDFs
Substitute third‑party components with accessible alternatives
Expand alt-text for complex content
Conduct further testing with screen readers and assistive tools
